I have bought at least six harnesses over the past six years for our staffy. Every single one would rub under her armpits and cause horrible sores (staffys don't register pain - they will just keep going despite their skin being rubbed raw). I looked at companies making harnesses just for staffys but I could see the harness still came right under the forearms. Then I contacted Brilliant K9. BRILLIANT! indeed. Wow! Finally, a harness designed to sit (and stay!) well back from the underarms. I'm in Australia and this company is in USA. The communication was brilliant, the postage was reasonable (don't let the postage cost put you off - chat to them first!) and it arrived a lot quicker than I expected. The harness is perfect. It doesn't stop her pulling (nothing has) but it doesn't slip down her front legs, it doesn't rub against her armpits, and she can't wriggle out of it. We are very happy customers. The harness built into the coat is "Brilliant". The quality and workmanship is superb. I now have two coats at different weights for variable weather and a custom coat to repel ticks and burrs for trailing. BK9 is my go too.

My dog was between a few sizes so I went through the fitting suggestion process and I found it super helpful. I was much more confident that I was ordering the correct size and the harness fits my dog very well now that it has arrived. Very fast on and off and I appreciate that this harness is unrestrictive but very different than other harnesses to help give my dog context cues for what sport we are doing when I put it on. The free patches are a bonus and it makes me smile everytime I see his name on his harness.

Sturdy, strong and well made. Love the range of sizes and fabrics to choose from. Shoulders can move freely without restriction for normal movement.
